Teej (Teeyan) is a festival celebrated by women and it’s mostly celebrated in north India. Teeyan Da Tyohar (Festival of Teej) Season 2 organized by Tashan-E-Punjabi Mutiyara UAE where Ladies and Girls dress up beautifully in their Traditional Punjabi dress to perform Gidda and various Dances such as Bhangra.
Tashan-E-Punjabi Mutiyara, an organization started by Mrs. Jaismeen Chana who have been teaching Punjabi traditional dance form Gidda for more than 7 years. She is astounding choreographer, an inspirational orator, event organizer, poetess, writer and a teacher. She has won Kozenoor Mrs. World Punjaban 2018 and Karwa Queen. TPM has organized many events like Vaisakhi Program, Teeyan Da Tyohaar Season 1 and Season 2, Singing Competition, participated in conversations on Punjabi Language, and MatruBhasha Utsav of Bharti Bhasha Samvardhan Sansthan. The main purpose of Tashan-E-Punjabi Mutiyara is to promote the Punjabi culture and create awareness.
Teeya Da Tyohaar, as celebrated by ladies in northern india and devoted to the association of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, where punjabi women performed traditional dances and won prizes after several rounds. Event was visited by Mrs. Karam Dhami and the founder of ‘Bhangra Crew’ Mr. Amandeep Singh who praised the event. During Phulkari round Jury Member was Mrs. Sonia Chhabra President of Mission Smile NGO and Kozenoor Miss and Mrs world Punjaban India Icon. Fulkari round was won by Mrs. Manpreet Kaur runners-up were Mrs. Pawan Kaur and Mrs. Ravinder Kaur. Mrs. Neetu Kaur, Mrs. Surinder Kaur, Mrs. Suman Kaur were given Consolation awards. Participation Awards were given to Mrs. Paramjit Kaur, Ms. Ravinder Kaur, Mrs. Sandeep Kaur, Ms. Jaskirat Kaur and Ms. Mannat Kaur. Kids Fashion Show where every one of the kids partook and every last one of them were given Prizes and Gifts.
